SilverStone CW01 Multimedia Server Case Review

The first entrant in their latest Crown series of multimedia server cases is CW01 with its layout similar to the Silverstoneâ€™s high end LC18 HTPC case without the integrated LCD touch screen display. It possesses a very professional yet simple look with golden inscription on it, which is sure to look attractive in your office. The optional RA01 bracket and handle kit can be used to mount the CW01 on the racket.

It is available in aluminum silver or black finish or a special edition CW01-WD which is available in black only boasting of a front panel window through which the functioning of the Raptor X hard drive by Western Digital is visible. The CW01 has extendable ventilation facility possessing two silent 80mm rear fans with the possibility of adding two more below the internal HDD cage. The Chassis has provision for accommodation a full size or a micro ATX motherboard plus a full size ATX power supply. Having three drive bays , it can still accommodate up to five 3.5â€ HDDâ€™s which means lots of memory available for storage.
